Large Gardens- Why Aren’t They Always The Best?

When thinking of a dream home, most people would love to have a large garden. Being able to do whatever you want in a large space. But larger gardens are not always the dream we envision. In this article, we are going to look into reasons why large gardens are not always the best.

1- More Maintenance
A larger garden does require more maintenance. For example, you will have more lawn to care for and mow. This means it will take you more time and effort to care for your garden.

2- More Expensive
Like with everything, when you go bigger, it does get more expensive. You have more costs to maintain your garden. You will need more resources to fill your garden and make it the best it can be.

3- Easier To Lose Items
With a larger garden, as you have more space it is much easier to lose items and more difficult to find them. All of the extra land makes it near impossible to hunt and find any items when you do lose them.

4-Easier For Pets To Escape
Having a larger garden gives your pets more opportunities to escape. With them being able to run off out of sight and escape from the garden without being spotted. This again can make it difficult for you to find them with there being many places where they can go when you have a larger garden.

5- Not As Safe
Large gardens are also not as safe, especially if you have younger children. With a larger garden, it is not possible to keep your eyes on your children at all times. Meaning they will not always be in eyesight and preventable injuries may occur.

These are our 5 reasons why larger gardens are not always the best. Take these into consideration when having it a high priority on your list of aspects for your home.
